Choosing an university with renewed enthusiasm

All my plans for higher education are in flux at the moment. Instead of accepting my unconditional offer to take the course Mathematics/Physics at the University of York, I have decided to review future options after considering my surprising results earlier this month.

The future may hold a career in finance, computing or academia: I have no idea where my qualifications will lead me but I would like it to involve highly creative and intensive work based on mathematics and some kind of engineering. The degree that I am planning to study is a four year mathematics and physics, or simply mathematics, course providing a MSci, MMath or MPhys.

Possible university courses

This serendipity blog is useful to organise my thoughts as it can be edited from any computer. These courses are my most preferable choices:

University of Cambridge, Trinity College
Mathematics (G100 BA/MPA)
University of Warwick
Mathematics and Physics (FG31 MPhys)
Imperial College London
Mathematics (G103 MSci)
Mathematics with Applied Mathematics/Mathematical Physics (G1F3 BSc)
University of Bristol
Mathematics and Physics (GFC3 MSci)
Mathematics (G103 MSci)
University of York
Mathematics with Physics (G1FH MMath/MPhy)
University of Leeds
Mathematics-Physics (FG31 BSc)
University of Durham
Mathematics and Physics (FGC0 MSci)
