I was just watching MTV’s Parental Control which is the most insensitive and ridiculous show that I have seen recently. It personally offended me and I feel like it is a vicious attack on the leftover scrapings of humanity left in the media. Basically a girl’s parents select two more men for their daughter to date resulting in a choice between the three men. After the dates, which were watched by the girlfriend’s old boyfriend and her parents, the daughter either chooses to keep her old boyfriend or completely get rid of him and go out with one of the new men.
This has to be the most insensitive shows in history: the first date involved the guy groping all over the girl to help her surf while the second was even worse with the guy pouring paint over the girl and showering with her afterwards. All this happened while the previous boyfriend watched! Imagine how much it must hurt him to see his girlfriend frolicking with these guys and the humiliation of being deserted for a guy he just met. I almost forgot to mention the kiss that confirmed the lack of emotion that the girl had. This show is heartless and I do not understand how the families agreed to take part in it.
