My university interview at Corpus Christi College, University of Cambridge, is scheduled for tomorrow. To be honest I am both excited and slightly nervous in anticipation: I have two intense thirty-minute interviews and a one-hour test on a topic that I will spend all morning studying. At 12:05 today I am going to catch a train to the City of Cambridge so that I arrive early. Only one-and-a-half hours to go!
Thankfully Corpus Christi College has offered me overnight student accommodation since I need to begin learning material around 8:45 am the following day. Travelling up at 5:00 am is not a pleasant thought. They are looking for highly motivated, clever individuals; I hope that they consider me such however I am worried that my lack of motivation in the past will affect their opinion of me.
Whatever happens, the next couple of days will be a lasting memory and important event in my life. I am looking forward to the challenging interview and associated tests and simply hope to impress them.
