I have changed my mind — again — about the weblog styling, perhaps because half-term is especially boring at the moment, and decided to use this template instead. To be honest I change my mind about template attractiveness every few weeks so this one may not stay for long. A large thanks to Carl Galloway and Andreas Viklund for releasing this great template.
One large annoyance is the inability of Serendipity to download styles directly from the internet. Apparently this is caused by a SourceForge CVS problem. Instead you have to use Spartacus, the new repository for templates and plug-ins, and upload the template folders manually.
Hopefully the new styling will facilitate some more interesting entries although it probably requires more effort than a new colour scheme. Usually I think of new ideas and features in my mind without writing them down; I’m hoping this freshly updated blog will be somewhere I can post the interesting ideas that hit me every day or two instead of forgetting them.
